Grading Scale / Grade Reports
GRADING SCALE
0 to 1 credit classroom courses that do not have an evaluated measure of learning will receive either a "P - Pass" or "F - Fail".
All self-paced online courses will receive either a "P-Pass" or "F-Fail" grade.
1, 2 and 3 credit programs that have course objectives,
and either a written final examination or other evaluated measure of learning will
receive a letter grade of:

A = 90 – 100% |
B = 80 – 89% |
C = 70 – 79% |
D = 60 - 69% |
F = 59% or lower |
I – Incomplete: Grade recorded upon
instructor approval for students unable to complete course requirements by the end
of the offering.
W – Withdrawal: Grade recorded upon
receipt of an official Tri-State CFT Withdrawal Form.
T – Transfer: Grade recorded as a
transfer credit from an accredited college/university.
GRADE REPORTS
By submitting the Tri-State CFT Registration Form, the student
gives authorization for Tri-State CFT to release a grade report to their employer. Grade
reports are mailed to the Personnel Director within (30) days following the
end of the semester. Transcripts will be released upon receipt of a completed Tri-State CFT
Transcript Request Form signed
by the student and faxed to Tri-State CFT at 513-621-5448.
NO student grade will be released over the telephone by either Tri-State CFT staff or faculty.
