Academic Integrity and Counseling
Tri-State CFT strongly supports the concept of academic integrity
and seeks to foster sound moral behavior in its students and faculty. Academic dishonesty
can take many forms and must never be tolerated. Engagement in academic dishonesty
is subject to serious consequences resulting in disciplinary measures. Instructors
who observe or suspect an incident of academic dishonesty shall inform a Tri-State CFT staff
member immediately for prompt investigation, review, and action.
- First Offense: A "Zero"
or "F" grade will be given for the test or homework in question. The student will
be counseled by faculty and a Tri-State CFT staff member.
- Second Offense: Expulsion
from the class and an automatic "F" grade will be given.
Tri-State CFT works with students on planning an academic program
to meet their specific career goals. Students are encouraged to consider courses
applicable to specific diplomas and certificates as well as their current and future
